Today we travelled south back towards Paphos, through Polis and in to the Port of Latchi which is a great place and over the course of the holiday will prove one of our favourite places to spend time.
Girls went shopping in the many shops, went crazy on buying gifts (all bargains!!) for friends and family.
We went for a walk around the harbour and saw some great boats, I’m sure my eyes were green! Lucy and I chatted to a guy about a glass-bottom boat trip €70 for all of us with a bit of discount
We had a light lunch at the Nicandross Fish Tavern which would become our favourite restaurant and which we would visit a few times
Spent the afternoon on Latchi beach. Before we left Nina and I went for another walk around the harbour, Nina wanted to climb some rocks and I wanted to investigate some speedboats for hire that I had spotted earlier. Was given a brief tour and negotiated a deal for a 100HP boat for 5.5 hours at €110 plus petrol, with a promise that fuel could not be me than a further €50. Left saying what I would think booking later in the week, but unsure what Lucy would say!
For our evening meal we went to a local Argaka restaurant, Liza’s. Good food, and free WiFi, so caught up with a few emails and a quick Skype with Stacia, Helen and Yves.
