Left Ludham and sailed up to Potter Heigham. There were two training boats arguing in the mooring area, had to "potter" about for 20 minutes until there was some free space. The Pilot wanted to charge £10 each way for going under the bridge, so we (temporarily) promoted Glen.
Strong winds across Hickling Broad and this was probably the best sailing we had with the boat getting a fair lean on a couple of times. We moored up at the Pleasure Boat Inn.
Went to back across Hickling Broad, but by this time the wind had died down a fair bit and it was not as exhilarating.
On to Horsey Mere, moored at the mill next to the Coriander & Mamosa.
Walked to beach saw a snake, hundreds of small baby frogs, deer and a seal.
On the return trip, we stopped at the Nelson Head where had an"OK" meal, and long walk back.
