Last day of the holiday

Last day of the holiday

A blog post and picture gallery for each day.

What we got up to:

Got up late today, getting later every day. Went for tea in Roy’s (who else) Food Mall and availed ourselves of the facilities. Glen went and bought munchies whilst Kahra bought a new magazine for the last day.

Leaving Wroxham bridge, Gary was still half a sleep and nearly put the boat it in to side of the bridge. We made our way Wroxham Broad where we lazed for most of the day reading, swimming etc.

When we eventually got the energy to raise the mast and sail we completd a few laps of the Broad, then sailed (cooking penne as we went) to Horning past the boatyard and moored on the opposite bank to The Ferry Inn, which is currently closed for refurbishment but looks as though it will be opening any day.

Being our last day we mopped and swept boat for the final time before packing everything back in to suitcases.

As was the norm we had a couple of glasses of wine and an early night, ready for taking the boat back in the morning.
